We just finished our first run of our new canoe course. This course is for those interested in learning how to canoe, as well as those interested in picking up some new skills. This course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced paddlers, and aims to get people comfortable in a canoe. It also includes pointers on handling the canoe on the river
This course took place over three days, starting in the afternoon of Wednesday the 21st, followed by Friday and Saturday afternoon.
The price for this course was $75 per person, and included the use of a canoe and appropriate equipment. We provided a small discount to groups who registered in pairs. We encouraged people to bring along a partner, since canoeing is much more enjoyable if you have someone who has also taken the course to paddle with. That being said, pairs were not required.
This course is designed to improve people's skills in the canoe, either in one-on-one lessons or in small groups. Due to the nature of the course, we can adjust the content to suit the abilities of the paddler.
